The Hyatt Center
71 South Wacker Drive
Chicago, Illinois

Grand Opening Celebration -- July 19, 2005

The Hyatt Center is a sparkling new elliptical shape in the illustrious skyline of Chicago developed by Pritzker Realty Group and Higgins Development Partners. It is the city's first building from the prestigious architectural firm, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners.

This landmark building at 71 South Wacker Drive joins some of the most renowned business addresses in the world, and is already home to Global Hyatt; the international law firm Mayer Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP; IBM; Charter One; and a major financial services firm and other forward thinking tenants.

Two entrance vestibules, one at each end of the building, provide controlled entry to the main lobby where access to the elevators and other services such as a food court and fitness center is possible.

Keith Tyson, the Turner Prize winning artist from Great Britain, was commissioned to create art that would not only welcome all who enter, but would be a greeting to those who pass by as well.
